Ask anyone to name a dynamic duo and certain combinations inevitably come to mind. Whether it’s artists like Lennon and McCartney, characters like Mario and Luigi or flavors like peanut butter and chocolate, some things are just better together.

AWS + SingleStore: Better Together

In the world of generative AI, that’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) and SingleStore.

As gen AI progresses from novelty to necessity, SingleStore and AWS have jointly committed to accelerating possibilities for gen AI at the enterprise level. SingleStore’s latest AWS gGen AI agreement supports machine learning and generative AI initiatives with tailored resources, funding and shared expertise.

The partnership is highly strategic, given our complementary strengths and vision.

As the largest and most widely used cloud computing platform, AWS is a natural choice for creating AI agents that function autonomously and can be orchestrated into deterministic workflows with predictable outcomes. Such orchestration is pivotal for ensuring reliability and efficiency in AI-driven processes, and is part of what makes AWS a platform of choice for developers in enterprises.

Of course, to actually bring enterprise AI to life, businesses need a constant infusion of fresh, real-time data, because blending fresh data with the existing corpus of large enterprise data leads to better accuracy of responses. That’s where SingleStore comes in: contextualizing all kinds of data for Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents using advanced Retrieval Augmentation Generation (RAG) at the speed of now.

Acting as a unified data layer, SingleStore can read, write, analyze and search across all data types, handling petabytes of information in milliseconds. By delivering near-zero latency access to diverse real-time data sources — including streaming data from platforms like Iceberg, cloud storage like Amazon S3, and enterprise systems like SAP and Salesforce — SingleStore empowers businesses to unlock the possibilities for enterprise AI at scale.

By combining SingleStore's blistering speed and incredible versatility with AWS' powerful AI infrastructure, companies like 6sense and Cognism are building enterprise AI applications at scale. Their applications are impressive —– not just for their advanced capabilities, but for the immediacy and relevance of the data that powers them and delivers a significant edge over competitors.

Want to see another great example? At SingleStore Now in October, AWS enterprise technologist Anand Desikan introduced Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service that helps developers build gen AI applications, and showed a customer service portal that uses real-time analytics and AI agents to provide thoroughly personalized customer support. Watch the demo to see what happens when SingleStore’s real-time processing and vector database capabilities meet the power of Amazon Bedrock’s foundation models within a RAG architecture.

AWS and SingleStore are also partnering on a natural language assistant that enables natural language conversation on existing structured data, allowing analysts or consultants to ask questions about data from structured databases. This project has high potential to help drive the widespread consumption of gen AI.

“Use cases like these work because SingleStore can store structured and unstructured data while mixing and matching both lexical and semantic search to return highly curated data to the LLM in real time,” said Madukhar Kumar, chief marketing officer, SingleStore. “The synergy between AWS and SingleStore heralds a new era, where the combination of real-time data and sophisticated AI redefines what's possible to achieve in enterprise innovation.”
