It’s no secret the best ideas often come from breaking the mold. And while our company value of innovation forward means we constantly work to achieve greatness through simplicity, quality and intelligence, we also believe in making room for passion projects.
Throughout the year, you can catch our engineering teams chipping away at proposed features and capabilities for SingleStoreDB when we host internal hackathons, which see a large number of submissions both from individual and team contributors — and where no idea is too big.
That being said, we know the time comes for our employees to step away from their computers and dedicate time to interests outside of work, including volunteering and charitable initiatives. At SingleStore, the time our employees devote to these efforts is just as important as the time they spend moving our company forward.
