With 6sense being a SingleStore customer for over two years, Premal provided a behind-the-scenes look at how the company leverages AI to drive business growth and improve customer experiences — while addressing the challenges of scaling AI solutions.

As the Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Engineering and Infrastructure at 6sense, Premal Shah has been instrumental in building the company's AI-driven solutions since its inception in 2013. 6sense focuses on helping B2B companies identify and engage potential customers through data-driven insights, allowing businesses to target warm leads rather than relying on traditional cold-calling methods.

  3. Email writer and personalized outreach. An AI-powered email writer helps 6sense users overcome the challenge of crafting personalized emails. Drawing from account data, the tool generates tailored emails that are relevant to the recipient’s interests and history. This feature not only saves time, but also helps increase engagement rates through more personalized communication.
  4. AI chatbot "Sherlock" for internal support. To address customer and internal support queries, 6sense developed an AI chatbot named Sherlock. Using SingleStore’s vector database capabilities, the bot quickly retrieves relevant documentation and generates responses using OpenAI models. Currently used internally at 6sense, the tool provides fast answers to customer service managers (CSMs) and support teams. The company plans to roll it out for customer use soon.
  5. Optimizing performance with SingleStore. As a data-heavy company, 6sense relies on SingleStore to manage tens of terabytes of data, and keep 27 months' worth of data available for fast querying. Premal emphasized the importance of using a high-performance database like SingleStore to support the scalability needs of AI-driven applications, ensuring users experience consistent and reliable performance — even as data volume grows.
