SingleStore’s Universal Storage format unifies transactions and analytics in the same engine to deliver high-performance analytics on operational data in real time — without the need for data movement.
Code generation
An industrial compiler to produce highly efficient machine code that enables low-level optimizations, which are not possible when executing queries via interpretation alone.
Lock-free data structures
SingleStore uses memory-optimized, lock-free skip lists and hash tables as its indexes. Unlike B+ Trees, these data structures are designed from the ground up to be fast in memory.
