Captain Metrics: Why We Ditched MongoDB
Overview
Captain Metrics provides a fully automated digital marketing platform that allows advertisers to unify and enrich their customer data to personalize their marketing efforts in real-time.
To power this dynamic platform, Captain Metrics captures real-time data from user interactions and combines that with historical data, segmentation data, and other third-party data sources to deliver customer analytics and insights, all in real-time.
But they just couldn’t deliver fast analytics and insights with MongoDB or PostgreSQL. MongoDB’s serialized execution model for searching for data and running analytics took 10’s of seconds to minutes to execute and occasionally timed out.
Join us for a Tech Talk with Pierre Bazoge, Founder and Technical Lead at Captain Metrics to learn more about why they ditched MongoDB and chose SingleStore as the single database for both operations and analytics.
