Connect memSQL to Pentaho Community Edition

Hello everyone,

I’m new using memSQL. I’ve heard I can connect memSQL to Pentaho Community Edition and use it as ETL, but I’ve not been able to establish that connection. Has somebody done it?

Hi!

You’ll be able to connect to Pentaho exactly the same as you were doing it with MySQL. You’ll have to download MySQL or Mariadb connector and put the .jar file in the lib directory which is in the Pentaho CE unzipped files.

Make sure you are using at least Pentaho 8+
