How do I change the data directory for my leaf nodes?

We installed our environment in Azure on Ubuntu 22.04 server. The install used a default data directory for the leaf nodes. I need to change it to /mnt/data. How is this done? We are on version 8.1.

BTW - I asked SQrL, the information looked useful but I was not able to find the configuration file that was suggested.
