Memsql phoning home?

Hi, I have noticed outbound traffic from my memsql server (cluster in a box) and I wanted to see if it is documented anywhere, or you guys can explain it. I have regular messages like this in my firewall log that show HTTP/80 traffic to your IP (52.20.82.148) being blocked:

  • Deny 1-Internal-1 0-External ISP tcp [192.168.1.76] [52.20.82.148] 41948 80 msg=“ProxyDeny: HTTP Invalid Request-Line format” proxy_act=“Default-HTTP-Client” line="\x16\x03\x01\x02\x00\x01\x00\x01\xfc\x03\x03\x161\xdb@%\x19\xa0\x92t\xb4\x16"\xf7g\x18,jO\x13*{m"P5*\xe2\x8b\xb10V\xdd\x00\x00\xa0\xc00\xc0,\xc0(\xc0$\xc0\x14\xc0\x0a" geo_dst=“USA” (HTTP-proxy-00)

Can you confirm this is by design, and explain what it is?
