No metadata is returned when using MariaDB JDBC driver 3.0.3 to connect to Single Store server 7.6.11

In our product, SingleStore server version 7.6.11 works when going against MariaDB JDBC driver version 2.7.3. But if I try using MariaDB JDBC driver version 3.0.3, no metadata is returned. I also see this issue when using a third party tool called Squirrel.

Can MariaDB JDBC driver 3.0.3 be used with Single Store server 7.6.11?

Can I ask if there is a specific reason for not using the SingleStore JDBC Driver?

I recommend giving this a try as we’ve made a lot of fixes to improve over the MariaDB driver.
