‘rename user’ is not supported

What is your ideal solution? What are you looking for?

‘rename user’ is useful where the client IP is changed from time to time
, such like google colab. However, singlestore can create a user by IP unit, but does not provide the rename user function.
It would be useful if a feature was added.

What version(s) of MemSQL or related tools is this affecting?
singlestore 7.8.1

We logged this as a feature request. For now you have to create a new user, grant it all the privileges needed, and drop the old one.
